National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) – 2010

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the NDA-II and Naval Academy (NA) Examination, 2009 on 22nd August, 2010 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wing of the NDA for 126th Course and Naval Academy for 88th [10+2 Executive Branch] course commencing 30th June 2011. Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible,

Posts : 355 (Army-195, Navy-39, Air Force – 66, Navy Academy- 35)

Eligibility:

* Age : Born between 2nd July, 1992 and 1st January,1995.
* Educational Qualification
o for Army : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
o For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University with Physics and Mathematics subjects
* Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.

Application Form: The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/- only.

Fee: Rs.50/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment (OBC candidates required to pay full fee).

How To Apply: All applications must reach the “Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069″ either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by courier on or before the 19th April, 2010. For the candidates from remore far flung areas the last date is 26th April, 2010. Candidates can also apply Online at UPSC Online website http://upsconline.nic.in/

Qualification Required : Matric or equivalent with ITI / or Apprentice in different trades recognised by SCVT/ NCVT OR Diploam in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Automobile Engineering in lieu of ITI.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Engineering Services Examination, 2010 from 26th June, 2010 for recruitment to the 434 posts of Indian Engineering Service. The Examination will be held at various centres across the country.

Eligibility:
Age : Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st August, 2010. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must hold a degree in Engineering or equivalent. Provided that a candidate applying for the posts of Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engineering Posts) and Engineer Group A in Wireless Planning & Coordination Wing/Monitoring Organisation may possess M.Sc.Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject. Candidates who qualify on the results of the written part of the examination will be summoned for personality test.
* Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.

Fee: Rs.100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/Female candidates are exempted from payment (OBC candidates required to pay full fee).

However those who still want to apply Offline, must apply in the Common Application Form which can be purchased from the designated Post Officers throughout the country by paying cash Rs.20.  This offline pplication must reach the “Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069″ either by hand or by Post/Speed Post/ Courier on or before the 02/03/2010. (9th March 2010 for the candidates from far flung areas)
